WITH THE SHORTER TEE

Hey! It's Alana here and I'm the Creative Lead at Bamboo Body. Some of you might have seen, over the past few weeks at BBHQ, we've been taking it in turns to challenge ourselves to re-wear a Bamboo Body item of our choice for the entire week. Scary? Fun! First up was Daria with the Cate Skirt, then Luana choosing the Lana Skirt and then it was my turn. Since we started this challenge, I've always known my pick because it is already a staple in my wardrobe - The Shorter Bamboo Tee! This was the first style I ever bought from Bamboo Body, when I first began working here, and I still love it to this day. I have a shorter torso and wider hips, so I feel my most comfortable in high waisted styles, and this tee is the best companion for those pieces. Being a cropped length, it sits at the perfect height for most of my bottoms and makes for a fun layer over a dress. I could go on forever about this style, but why not just show you why it's so great!
MONDAY
A classic top and jean combo to start off the week. I've chosen to go with white because you can't go wrong with a classic white tee. I rarely wear black, so it's the most versatile colour to pair back with my wardrobe and a staple that I reach for time and time again. I love how it sits right at the top of my jeans, meaning I can wear it efforlessly untucked, or I don't have to fiddle with heaps of material to have it tucked. For me, this look is foolproof and comfy, exaclty how I like it for a busy Monday.

Such a cute and easy office look while staying true to my aesthetic. Wearing colour, patterns and fun styles brings me joy so this was right up my alley. To be honest, I haven't actually paired this top with the Melanie Dress before, but I tried to think outside of my familiar box and I loved it! I don't usually opt for anything too tight fitting, but this combo bordered the perfect line for me. I felt like it flattered my shape and really enjoyed the sweet, feminine feel.
TUESDAY

A delivery day at BBHQ! It's usually all hands on deck when we receive a shipment, so I came prepared to be on my feet. I'm wearing some trusty overalls to get the job done and the Shorter Tee is really proving itself here as the perfect little top. Having that cropped length means it sits perfectly under these overalls without bulking out my waist and bottom with excess material. A super fuss-free, comfy outfit for a jam-packed day!
WEDNESDAY
A delivery day at BBHQ! It's usually all hands on deck when we receive a shipment, so I came prepared to be on my feet. I'm wearing some trusty overalls to get the job done and the Shorter Tee is really proving itself here as the perfect little top. Having that cropped length means it sits perfectly under these overalls without bulking out my waist and bottom with excess material. A super fuss-free, comfy outfit for a jam-packed day!

My favourite little hack to transform a dress into a completely different look! I love wearing this tee over dresses, as once again, it's the perfect length to do so! I flip between wearing it loose or knotting it, as pictured, but everytime I love the outcome. This dress has a lower back and I probably wouldn't wear it to work on it's own. Putting this tee over the top allows me to make it a bit more casual and office-friendly, instead of reserving it as a weekend-only dress. This is such an easy way to get the most out of a style you love.
