How to Wear Sage this Season

Date Posted:10 October 2019

We road-test soft, subtle, sophisticated Sage.

Sage is one of the biggest colours for Spring / Summer 2019. It is sophisticated and subtle, and its soft hue will blend nicely with your white, denim and black wardrobe essentials.

We've had so much fun sharing how we would wear yellow and dark olive this season, that we decided we should also road-test our favourite new season styles in sage!

From left to right:

Mel - Tab Sleeve Top: Sage is the perfect shade of green for Spring, the subtle colour paired perfectly back with my blue jeans. While the Tab Sleeve Top in Sage isn't a typical style I would go for, I love the button details and the comfortable sleeve length. My style is a bit predictable but if I'm wearing a high-waisted jean that shirt is getting tucked in!

Claudia - Jasper Ruched Dress: I was absolutely determined to buy the Beth Dress as soon I saw it. However, when I tried the Jasper Dress in Sage for this shoot, I totally fell in love with it and ended up buying the Jasper and not the Beth Dress! I always loved the Jasper, just not for myself. It proved to me, you have to try the things you might think they are "not made for you" and they turn out to be different. Since I have started wearing it I've earned a lot of compliments and I just feel good and pretty in it.

Amanda - Melanie Dress: I love the freshness of the Sage green colour in our Melanie Dress. It looks beautiful worn back with light denim and is so easy to dress up with tan heels and accessories or casual white trainers for a more relaxed feel. It is definitely a versatile colour that will go from Spring to Summer in my wardrobe.

Melissa - Beth Dress: I fell for the Beth Dress as soon as it came in. You have got to love a dress with pockets!! I also like how the dress fits then flows, and that the pockets are deep and comfy yet still streamlined. I like wearing Sage with white to keep it fresh, or on its own with some fake tan ;)
