Dark olive is the new black.
It is natural, warm and earthy, and is a colour that looks good on a lot people. It's no wonder that it is fast becoming a wardrobe staple! Olive is super versatile and can have a chic or casual look, depending on how you style it.
Here at Bamboo Body we are quite partial to pairing dark olive with either white or black. Last week we had so much fun road-tested our favourite golden yellow looks, thiat we just had to share our favourite dark olive bamboo styles:
From left to right (above):
Mel - Dark Olive Bamboo Shorter Tee: I think this shorter tee was specifically made for me. I was pleasently suprised by how much I love wearing this colour, it goes so well with both my blue and black jeans. It's already on high circulation as one of my wardrobe staples, it's even coming on holidays with me!
Amanda - Dark Olive Relaxed Singlet + Nina Skirt: Our Relaxed Singlet is my all-time favourite top style in the Bamboo Body range. It is my go to, don't have to think about it top! It looks great worn out and casual with jeans or tucked in to our Double Layer Tube Skirt or Nina Skirt. I love the lower scoop neckline and the A-line fit through the body so it isn't too fitted. Dark olive will easily be a new addition to my wardrobe as it looks classic back with black and so fresh with white or denim.
Claudia - Scoop Singlet + Dark Olive Culottes: I like wearing the Dark Olive Culottes with a fitted white top like the Scoop Singlet or Essential Scoop Tee as it looks fresh and sporty, especially worn with white sneakers. I also like how the culottes are so flattering, super comfortable and make me feel taller! Dark olive is a great change to our usual basic colours like black and navy, and it flatters every skin tone.
Melissa - Dark Olive Carter Tunic Top: I hadn't actually worn dark olive before but found it easy to wear and quite flattering, especially with my hair colour. I teamed the Dark Olive Carter Tunic Top with white shorts for a more summery, fresh look. I really like the relaxed fit of the Carter Tunic and find that its longer length balances well with tighter pants or shorter shorts.
